No, they did not specify if that is the published expiration date or not.

If you buy online through Royal Caribbean's recommended site, the kits ship (arrive at your home) in 2 - 3 days.  Super convenient. 

 

I would recommend waiting until early January and buying the test kits. 

Buy 3 (for total of 2 people).  

You will have a back up kit in the event that there is an issue with one of the kits. 

 

So simple.  (I did mine earlier today - in my hotel room)

No logistics to coordinate with a testing site, etc. 

 

Extra kits can be given to anyone. 

It's good to have for home also, in the event that you don't feel well:  you can do a quick test. 

RE:  if not needed for cruising, you can do the test without the online agent.  Just do the test and get the result. 

 

The home kit:  no driving to CVS, no waiting in a line, no appointment to make, no researching for locations.  So easy.  I am glad to pay for a test kit and to not have to deal with all of the above.
