In our case, our laptop did not go black.  There "was" activity because the screen displays a countdown timer, and I believe that keeps the screen active.  It should work similar to watching a movie or using webex or some kind of meeting app.

I don't think the RCI link provides that as an option. They only provide the 2 and 3 pack ones and they should be the same price.
