Pub Lunch - COVID victim

My third Cruise since covid. Haven't seen Pub Lunch.

I'm on Regal right now and there was a Pub Lunch listed in the patter today. It was held in the Crown Grill. We ate at Alfredo's instead so I can't tell you any details about the specifics served at the lunch.

Good to know.  I sure hope it isn't a thing of the past.

When we were on Regal at Halloween we found a few cut backs due to covid.  There was no pub lunch, crab shack or chefs table during our cruise… or any events or sales to speak of (at least that we could see). Though we didn’t mind as were just glad to get away.  Would be great if it’s back on as back on regal at Easter.

I’m guessing but I’m wondering how much of this is due to the reduced number of passengers on the ships. As the passenger numbers return to closer to normal I think many of these venues will be reinstated.

We have also missed the Pub Lunch on our two cruises since the Pandemic.  I was mad that I forgot to mention that in the after cruise survey I just completed.

Pub Lunches were on the way out in late 2019.    We were in the Emerald Princess for over 49

days and only had one which was arranged at the last minute.

We did the Pub lunch today on the Regal. Same menu as precovid. Poorly attended (ship low capacity). Hopefully it will continue. Food was very good fish freshly fried not greasy.
