Apologies, but a quick question....

We are due to be sailing out of New York on the Epic this coming Sunday.

For various reasons (non-Covid related) we are now not going to be able to travel. I made the mistake a couple of weeks ago of pre-paying for our gratuities and some shore excursions.

I realise we lose 100% of the cruise cost, but my question is am I allowed these additional amounts back as a refund, even at this short notice?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

And taxes and fees are refundable. You only lose the cruise fare unless you have NCL insurance

The Bird is correct.  We had to cancel an NCL cruise on short notice a few years ago.  Foolishly, we were so certain that we would be going that we neglected to purchase trip insurance.  I hope we don't make that mistake again.  Anyway, we cancelled just 24 hours before boarding was to begin, and we got back everything except the actual cruise fare itself.
