ATT mobile phone services

I was searching for information where you could prepay for your WiFi services and ran across this information for ATT.  Has anyone used this service?  Is it better than the ship’s plan?  Thanks in advance.

Please include the information you are talking about.  If it is from ATT it is certainly not WiFi, but some mobile cell data plan.

We used to purchase the ATT Ship Cell Service on cruises. DW had to talk to her mother every day while she was in the nursing home. DW said the quality of the voice calls was better than using the WiFi call system - fewer drop-outs and better voice quality. Voice quality was important for those calls. ATT service (as I recall) was about 30% - 50% of the just ship Cell service. MIL has now passed, so we no longer get that service, we just use the internet WiFi to talk to the Grand Kids.

I got the AT&T cruise package and it’s $50 per phone for calls and text or $100 per phone for calls, text and a little data. It was for one month from the start date that you choose.
