Highlander1 Posted December 6, 2021 #1 Share Posted December 6, 2021 Its scheduled twice in 2022, June 12 begins in Vancouver, 6 days sailing Alaska, 5 days at sea and 5 days in Hawaii ending in Honolulu. On October 3 it leaves Honolulu, sails 5 days in Hawaii, 5 days at sea and 6 in Alaska ending up in Vancouver. Not sure but Alaska could be cold in October, has anyone sailed these waters at different times? Looking for the sail days to be warm, which trip would be better for warmth, probably June? bluesea777 Posted December 6, 2021 #2 Share Posted December 6, 2021 I think it’s the other way around as Spirit is cruising Alaska during the summer. 1

Sorry, but you have the dates and itineraries reversed. It departs Honolulu on 12 June for Vancouver. It returns from Vancouver on October 3 for Honolulu. I definitely would recommend the June departure. It will be quite cold in Alaska in October, and the weather is likely to be more cloudy and rainy then, as well. Also, because the summer season in Alaska will be over by October, many of the attractions, shops, and restaurants will be closed for the season by then. The few stores that remain open may be having great end-of-season sales, but are you really going to Alaska for the shopping?

Floridian347 Posted February 23, 2022 #8 Share Posted February 23, 2022 Hi everybody, we are considering changing our Venice round trip NCL in July for this in June (Venice port was cancelled). We have been in South America, Med and North Sea cruises without motion sickness problems but wondering if anybody knows if the Pacific could be VERY rough between Hawaii and Alaska during June. We don't suffer motion sickness but I heard that leaving Cal to Hawaii can be rough. Thank you for any info.
