pokerguy90 Posted December 13, 2021 #1 Share Posted December 13, 2021 Just booked a last minute cruise for Xmas week. It was dirt cheap to get 2 rooms rather than our usual quad. However on the reservation we have it assigned 1 kid 1 parent to each room. Was that a mistake. Because our kids are 14-16 will they allow us to change that config. Or just leave it, and just change the actual sleeping arrangements once onboard? Just to clarify its 2 rooms with the connecting door in between. csm5986142 Posted December 13, 2021 #4 Share Posted December 13, 2021 That will work perfectly. Once you open the connecting door it's like one big suite anyway (actually, I think it's better than booking some suites because you have 2 bathrooms. groundloop Posted December 13, 2021 #5 Share Posted December 13, 2021 Also, go to Guest Services the first day and they'll give you extra room keys for the room the kids will be in. (You probably don't want to leave your Sail&Sign card with a teenager - they'll be able to spend to infinity and beyond on your account).
mr. godfredo Posted December 14, 2021 #6 Share Posted December 14, 2021 We do this all the time, it works out great. Also, if you want to purchase the drink package, you don't need to buy it for both adults as you will be in separate rooms.
cocomango Posted December 14, 2021 #7 Share Posted December 14, 2021 We've done this several times with adjoining rooms. Carnival requires a +18 in each cabin so they have to set it up that way. We put the kids in one cabin and keep the door in between open. We just enter on which ever door we have the key for and access the other room.
