Salisbury UK- day 2 Covid test location

I will be staying in Salisbury before my cruise and am looking for a place to get a Day 2international arrival’s Covid-19 test on a Saturday or Sunday.

We pre-booked ours at the airport and were tested the day we arrived in the UK

We have just used Expresstest drive thru at Gatwick airport. Very quick and results expected by midnight tomorrow which considering its bank holiday seems quite fast.

If I was returning to the UK, I would be required to have pre-booked my Day 2 PCR test from one of the government authorised test companies. I would need to have the test booking reference to add to my passenger locator form as a condition of being able to board the flight. I would also need a pre-boarding antigen or PCR test. I presume that similar regulations are in place for foreigners.

 

This is a link ot the headline page on the government website. Further links will take you to more detailed information, including a list of approved testers. The suggestions to use a tester at your arrival airport seems solid to me. Gets it over an done with as soon as possible which means you hopefully get a negative result as soon as possible.

If my flight is delayed would the airport testing locations allow me to rebook or do I lose my payment?  The same day PCR is quite expensive in my opinion. I will be tested at home before my flight to LHR
