Updated drink price list (Jan 2022). Casino's free PREMIUM drink card can get some Premium Plus alcohol at the casino bar

Still can't believe Crown Royal is listed as Premium Plus.

Fortunately, those who have the Premium level casino card can get that Premium Plus level alcohol for free.

Also, most high end whisky ($30+) has been removed from the casino bar.

It's now only found at the Malting's Whisky bar. 😞

So much for the Ultra casino drink card. (ANY alcohol at the casino bar = free)

at least it's only 1.00 more for the crown. I find it interested that ALL vodkas are included in premium on the list. Side note: that Ketel One Botanical Grapefruit and Rose cocktail on the regular bar menu is surprisingly good, very light and refreshing. Next time I run out of vodka here at home I plan to get it

Sucks about the Ultra Casino card but I wasn't likely to ever hit that level sadly. (or is it thankfully lol)

I thought Ultimat and Ciroc were Premium Plus.  I was drinking Ultimat (which I'd never heard of) because I could 🙂  Now that I'm on land, it's back to Absolut.

I was just looking at the photo the OP posted. Greygoose/Belvedere/Ketel/Titos is usually good enough for me

On land, I buy Summum Vodka, which is a good decent vodka for the price (idk if it is available everywhere in the US) Whenever I am out of Summum, I do plan on getting the Ketel One Botanical Vodka, which I discovered while cruising. Love cruising discoveries.

Interesting mix.  Ultra of course everything; Premium. all the Vodka and Gin but only half the Whiskey; House level especially weird, half the rums but only 2 Scotch.

I would imagine most land based bars would try to balance a similar  percentage of each variety of alcohol at a certain price level (i.e. 10% of scotch or rum or bourbon $, 30% of each

$$, 35% at $$$, and 25% at $$$$) but obviously NCL has found different interest levels in drinkers of different alcohol types or they got better deals with some of the manufacturers.

$23.00 for Woodford?!?! Holy cow!!!  That’s a $10 bourbon in most bars.

I could get a small bottle of Woodford in NC for way less than that.  I get the upcharge on the cruise but that is really highway robbery.

It was included in the beverage package on my last cruise. I guess by pricing it that high they either get you to pay $8 or upsell you to the premium package. For me premium doesn’t make sense since my significant other doesn’t drink.

Bookers in 2018 was $17.95 so you only paid $3 for it then for a much better bourbon.

Yeah, in 2017 on Escape, I ordered Bookers every night after dinner and it was just the extra $3 and I had no issue with it.  But Bourbon is in shortage right now across the country so I'm not surprised to see the prices on cruise rise either.  Just didn't expect that much of an upcharge.

I will never understand NCL's philosophy with bourbon.

We were on the bliss and they had Elijah Craig Small Batch for $24 a shot.  That stuff is $30 a bottle on land.  And again, why charge $1 above premium for Crown Royal?  Given the number of bourbon drinkers in the US, you'd think they would want to entice them to come cruising where they could have a decent drink included in the package...

Their bourbon selection is overall pretty disappointing.

Throw a few of the mainstream, decent, easy to get brands in the bar package - Woodford, Makers, Knob Creek type stuff. Then upcharge for your true premium ones like Bookers, Blantons, etc.

Theres no way I’d ever pay $24 for Elijah Craig. Or even pay a $9 upcharge for it on the beverage package.
