One simple way to explain it is click on this link and scroll down to Hawaii Maritime Museum and follow their directions. The Maritime Museum is just a short distance from Aloha Tower, maybe a block.http://www.thebus.org/Pop/museums.asp

Buses leave from the Aloha Tower every few minutes. They say right on them where they are going.

 

There are free shuttles (trolley) to the downtown Shopping Center as well. You can take it there, and take another free shuttle from there to Waikiki hotel area. :)

 

Taxi fare from Aloha Tower Marketplace to Waikiki was about $14 each way.
