Officially Certified tour Operators during covid-19

Hi all,

i tried to find the info on the web but couldn`t so far.

If i understood it correctly , Antigua only allows cruise ship excursions offered by the cruise lines themselves or so called "officially certified tour operators".

Is there any form of list which operators are certified?

I booked a private excursion for our 02/02 stop on the epic and would like to know if the company i booked with is officially certified so i can take that excursion.

I don`t want to risk standing at the pier and not being allowed to take part because the operator is not certified or even worse not being allowed back on board because of that.

thanks in advance.

I could not find a "list",

but was on the Carnival Freedom first week of Feb'22

there were plenty plenty of tour guides to use.. and no one was "checking" when you got back.

I found a private tour guide recommended on here that I contacted, used, and was very satisfied with! Had no problems!

His name is Glen Ray

His rates are very reasonable

will take you wherever you want to go!

Were you able to be dropped off at a beach and have him return? I'm just looking for a beach with a bar and time to relax. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Absolutely... He will ask you what you want to do, to see, to eat, if hungry, for the day..

what ever your priorities are, He will be glad to make it happen!

I found my "Tour Guides" on this board many years ago from fellow cruisers, who Highly rec'md their people.. all word of mouth.. I found this one on here.. Have used, and vetted Him..

and I will be looking Fwd to seeing Him soon. I hope this helps
