The real distinction between K95 and KN95 masks is that K95 are made to US mask standards and are regulated by NIOSH. KN95 masks are made to Chinese mask standards. Or at least they are supposed to be. Apparently there is little regulation and masks that are labeled KN95 often do not meet those Chinese standards.

 

The KN95s might also be kind of small for many American faces.

 

My KN95 with behind the head straps still fogs up my glasses, despite my attempts to adjust the metal nose bridge seal. So mine is not a perfect fit.
