Valor number of outlets

I'm sure others know much more than I do about this-----but I believe you can bring an extension cord only if it is NOT a surge suppressor. Something about if it cuts off the flow it might cause an internal wire overload. I know it sounds counterproductive, but they will confiscate the normal surge suppressed cords. Also, the cord should not look worn.

We were on the Valor two weeks ago in a balcony room on deck 8. There was one outlet on the vanity. I had seen reports that some lamps by the bed have USB ports, but ours did not have them. We brought a cruise power strip, non-surge protected, that we bought on amazon. It has no cord and fit perfectly into the area where the plug is on the vanity.
