Miami cruises

I haven't cruised Miami since late September so my info is a little dated.  My recollection is that the ship was essentially fully boarded by maybe 1 pm.  After that, the very occasional taxi would show up at the pier.  I'm sure those folks had no problem boarding immediately up until the prescribed cutoff.

I'm assuming your NOT asking about being late for a hard manifest deadline 'Final Boarding" of 2:30 or 3 pm.  They can and will leave you at the pier for missing that although in Baltimore we saw a family board literally as they were about to pull up the gangway.  I was shocked.

If you are asking if you can board early..... you might get into the terminal or you might stand outside in the sun.  You won't board the ship out of order based on your AO1, 2, 3.... BO1, 2, 3 sequence. That's set in stone as you proceed up the 'jet-way'.

WE have a late arrival time for our cruise Sunday.

How strict is Carnival in enforcing it?

What time do they let passengers board Horizon?

You may make it inside the terminal for check-in but they can and do make guests wait until their boarding group is called.

It depends.

You might check between now and then to see if any other time slots open.
