PCR test at end of cruise.

As Canadians, we will require negative PCR tests to return to Canada.  I've been hearing conflicting reports of the timing of the tests provided by Regent.  Most say that they are performed on board about 24 hours prior to the end of the cruise, but I just read one review claiming the test was done at the port after the cruise (which of course provides little time to get the results prior to boarding a flight home). I was just wondering what the experiences have been for CC members?  We'll be sailing on the Splendor March 7-17 and are just wanting to be prepared for all eventualities.

Splendor cruise last Sept, test was done day prior to disembarking.

Explorer cruise last November.  Testing done at sea one day prior to disembarking at Miami.

The issue is what type of testing.  Has to be molecular, either PCR or Naat (Walgreen's ID NOW is an example); an antigen test is not good enough.

Regent will provide pcr test if that is what your destination country requires. At least that was the policy last September.

Same for us last month (January 2022). Testing done the day before disembarkation & certificate delivered to suite.

We are on the Splendor right now and are continuing into next leg of 14 days. We were texted this morning and just got out negative results on our cellphones.Those returning tomorrow to a foreign country got PCR test and will get written results sent to their stations later tonight

Any idea what would happen if you tested positive just before disembarkation?
