Fishing excursion

Looking for any recs for fishing in Icy Straight Point. Husband, 15 year old son and myself cruising for the first time since the Rona has arrived. Celebrating my husband's retirement. Through Carnival there is only 1 spot left. Have plans to kayak in Ketchikan/rent a car to see totems, whale watching with a stop at the Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau and hoping for fishing in Icy Straight Point.

We are also cruising on CCL this summer and have been wondering the same thing. At this point, we have booked a fishing excursion with an independent company in Ketchikan as it is supposed to be when the King Salmon are doing there thing. There seems to be several websites where private charters can be booked, although none of them particularly inexpensive.
