teacherme Posted February 5, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2022 We are looking to book a cove balcony on the Vista. The cove balcony is located on the 2nd deck so we were looking at what is located on the 3rd deck. On the 3rd deck there is the lobby, a bar, two different restaurants (one next to the lobby and other all the way in the back of the ship). There is an open space between the two restaurants. Does anyone know what is located in this area? Also if you were booking a cove balcony, which are would be the best (noise level) and the worse? Oh and I have someone prone to motion sickness. Thank you in advance.
jjow Posted February 5, 2022 #2 Share Posted February 5, 2022 Not sure about the best cove balconies, but that big space is the galley. Passengers can’t pass through there, you either have to go up or down a deck to get to the other side.
teacherme Posted February 5, 2022 Author #3 Share Posted February 5, 2022 I thought is was the galley. So that definitely is a no for us.
nlktx49 Posted February 6, 2022 #4 Share Posted February 6, 2022 Go for mid-ship, lower deck for least motion. Cove balcony is great, we had one on deck 2 last month. Just don't get under the galley areas if you can help it. Lots of clanging and banging all night. Not terrible, just enough to be annoying. Take ear plugs! PhotoMike Posted February 6, 2022 #5 Share Posted February 6, 2022 I had cove balcony room 2306 on Vista, and it was wonderful. No complaints about that location at all (mid-ship).
