Brilliance of the Seas - can balconies open

Going to be booking Brilliance of the Seas for Europe in May 2023. Getting 2 balcony rooms with my kids( in their 20’s) next to us. From what I have read, it sounds like you can’t open the dividers on the balconies to make a larger one?  Is this correct?  If so, then hopefully we can at least find connecting cabins.

Balcony dividers on Radiance class ships do not open
