CruiseNYC Posted February 9, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2022 Happy to report that Princess issued an updated CruiseHealth statement (February 7, 2022), allowing, once again, passengers on peritoneal dialysis and those who use oxygen concentrators. Passengers using supplemental oxygen tanks are still unable to cruise with them, however.
Cache Trekker Posted April 9, 2022 #2 Share Posted April 9, 2022 My husband is traveling with an oxygen concentrator for the first time on the Majestic Princess on April 23. I was just wondering whether there are electrical outlets around the ship that he could plug into to recharge, or would he always have to be in the stateroom to do that. Do you happen to know? Rare Essiesmom Posted April 9, 2022 #3 Share Posted April 9, 2022 (edited) I have not traveled on a Royal class ship of Princess. But on many ships I have sailed, on various lines, if you keep your eyes open you can find outlets along the baseboard areas in public areas. They will usually be EU outlets, so if the concentrator is dual voltage, and you carry a plug adaptor, you can charge for awhile. These outlets are used by the staff to plug in vacuum cleaners and there is often seating along the walls.
