Pixie cut styling for formal nights

Hi there!  A couple of months ago I got my waist-length pandemic hair cut into a longer pixie cut.  Now I'm looking for ideas of how to spiff it up for elegant wear. I have some natural wave, if that helps. (but I try to avoid flat irons and the like)

 

How do you style your pixie for dressy nights?

I'd style of to get full volume and add a fascinator.

You can dress up your hair a lot by finding some pretty fascinators (google them on Amazon), or a pretty headband for something more low-key. Also I've seen pretty hair pins that have sparkles, bows, etc 

 

I think you can do a lot with the above ideas. I have a beautiful headband with a big pink bow, sounds like a little girl but it really is pretty and where else could I wear it except on a cruise or maybe to the Derby? LOL. Seriously, it's easy to dress up short hair if you do one of these things
