The discussion here points how that there are many ways of looking at issues and the hotter (less black and white) the issue the more each side is sure they are right.  And the protocols are one of those issues.  And the situation is changing and varies geographically.  Travel is supposed to kill ignorance, prejudice and intolerance.

 

I appreciate hearing the debate to understand and develop empathy/tolerance.  Thanks to all for opining.

Maybe you should educate yourself on the new rules the CDC has for cruising. The most vaccinated ships, (those whose passengers and crew are vaccinated and boosted) will have relaxed rules for masking. Those who opt out of the program or for lesser vaccination numbers onboard will be subject to more rules onboard.

 

Do you get upset when you see police enforcing the speed limit?

 

And FYI, driving around masked is a reasonable thing to do. A driver making several stops does not have to potentially contaminate her mask by taking it off and on. They may have an immunocompromised person at home who they wish to protect.  How are you affected by this behavior anyway?
