And with good luck and good fortune you will see it all. All the tips about weather and ships are certainly valid. Consider how often you will be able to cruise and prioritize your itineraries accordingly. None of us know - for whatever reason - when that luxury will no longer be attainable. Do what you most want to do now, first. Then, go from there.

I'll echo the concerns about doing a Med cruise during the summer because of the heat.  But if that's the only time you can do it, and it's a priority for you in terms of what you'd like to see and do, then go for it.   (We actually took a Med cruise years ago in the middle of the winter, which was fabulous, with the added benefit of few crowds!)

 

As for Norway and the Rotterdam, we have 21 days in Norway on the Rotterdam booked for July 2023 and can't wait!  We haven't sailed on a Pinnacle class ship yet, and are really looking forward to it.  And the only time we've visited Norway was a port call to Alesund several years ago on HAL's Viking Passage.  It was a beautiful little town and left us wanting to see more of Norway.   If you do end up taking the Norway cruise, and if you stay in Alesund for the port call, which we did (as opposed to taking an excursion out of town), I highly recommend the fun City Train through the town and up to the stunning Mount Aksla viewpoint.   After we did that, we had time to wander around on our own, and had THE best fish and chips lunch we've every had.

You are in for a treat!  It was absolutely thrilling to walk along the exposed Mid-Atlantic Ridge in Thingvellir National Park.
