Is the Sanctuary on Sky worth it for views on a cruise to the Fjords?

Hi all,  we are going on a cruise to the Norwegian Fjords (Sky Princess) 23rd April and thinking of booking a sea day in the sanctuary.    Will this be worth it for the views, hot tubs, peace and quiet etc as we know it will be very cold or are we wasting our money?

Seems like your two sea days will be in the North Sea. No fjords to see there and probably cold in April. The most spectacular Fjord is Sognefjord. Be sure to watch either the sail in or out. Steep hills and snow capped mountains. The sail out takes around 2 hours.

Oh year they are sea days, think I will give it a miss, thank you for the advise on Songnefjord, I will make sure we dont miss it.

Depends on your exact itinerary, but the fjord is very long so if you want to see the sail in you generally need to be up by 4:30/5am at the latest.  Or you could just wait for the sail out at a more sociable hour 😀
