charlielinda Posted February 18, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2022 (edited) Years ago … 2001 and a few years afterwards — we would be on a cruise and there would be an announcement that because of many cabins were unsold for the next cruise they we’re having great discounts if you wanted to stay on for the next week. We actual did it once. Has anyone experienced this recently? Edited February 18, 2022 by charlielinda
Rare cruisestitch Posted February 18, 2022 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2022 Yes you can still do it. You do need to make arrangements in advance at guest services. You can’t just decide on the last morning that you’d like to stay on. They need to be able to submit your name to Homeland security.
lola2013 Posted February 18, 2022 #3 Share Posted February 18, 2022 It's been done on the last two cruises that I've been on (sadly, not me). With many available cabins, lots of people have been lucky enough to extend their stay.

Getting on Reflection tomorrow and thinking … My last cruise two weeks ago was on Reflection. There were two couples that I know of who said they got "great" deals to stay a second week. I don't have specific amounts, but certainly worth asking about when you board.

Getting on Reflection tomorrow and thinking … It'll depend entirely on what the next sailing looks like. Just ask once you're on board and see what they offer. Julma Posted February 18, 2022 #7 Share Posted February 18, 2022 We did it a couple of weeks ago on the Apex. There was no great deal. Basically the list price with a 150 OBC for booking onboard. We were on a B2B and decided to add one more week rather than come home to 2 feet of snow and ice.
