Are you also doing revenue bookings or referring bookings they can earn something from, or just casino bookings (a.k.a. work for no compensation)?
Basically - Why would a “great” PVP go the extra mile for a booking they don’t earn anything from?

Are you sure?

I believe PVPs do get credit for casino bookings. They must either get credit or actual compensation because I book casino offers all the time, some of which are free, and she still wants me to book through her.

Correct, they do not receive direct commission; they accumulate credit for productive work to ensure their continued employment. The more bookings they can facilitate is beneficial to both Carnival and the PVPs.

I don’t know about a booking number target, but I had a lengthy conversation with the executive host on my sailing last month about it, and she was very clear that casino offer bookings are non-commissionable for both PVPs and TA.
That said, sounds like there are apparently other motivations for why they’d work on a reservation that earns them no commission (mentioned above).
