Can we take a slight turn with this thread as it applies to the Platinum/Elite Lounge in the Embarkation port?

Is there an ability to sign up for times in the Sanctuary while waiting in the Platinum/Elite lounge, in the port, prior to embarkation?

If you want a different subject you should start a separate thread. People

will look for the subject

No, you must wait until you board.

The Platinum/Elite Lounge being discussed here is different from the Plat/Elite embarkation lounge where you would wait to board the ship.
The one being discussed here is onboard in the evening before dinner.
Either way you would have to go to the Sanctuary to book it.

We always enjoy visiting in the lounge.

A great spot to talk travel and sailing experiences with seasoned travellers.

Lots of tips, and funny stories. Have a beverage or a snack and just chill.

We really hope its a good enough snack , but hunger is not OUR driving emotion to attend.

When you travel enough... often, you recognize past cruisers and crew that you have met,

and We share a moment.....

We agree. It is our place to relax every night before dinner. We especially enjoy it when it is in Skywalkers.

The negative comments appear to come from those who are negative about everything.

My wife, Deb, and I had a great time during the Aug 4-11 cruise on the Emerald. The Skywalker lounge setup was a nice end of the day respite before dinner.

One evening, we met another couple who cruise a lot, and were recently on a SilverSea cruise. Though we've traveled a lot on Princess, we had booked a SilverSea cruise for our 50th next year. They provided a lot of info for SS and provided some good comments comparing SS and Princess.

We liked our Emerald cruise so much, we also booked same cruise on the Enchanted next August, and will be bringing a long our two grandkids.

We talked to a lot of the staff and were quite interested in all their stories.

Last time we cruised on Princess was more than 10 years ago.
