In-Stateroom Babysitting

Did anyone run into the ship not having a babysitter available for them?

We intend to set up all the nights we can at the beginning, but i am thinking with so many people on the ship...

And to clarify, I go to the Purser's Desk for this, right??

From what I understand, last minute babysitters are not always available, but if you're arranging for one in advance, you should be ok. Good luck!

We just got back from Majesty and there were no sitters available until 10 at night. We had to eat in our room every night. Very disappointing.

why would you eat in your room every nite? With kids in tow we ate in the Dining room! Wow!

Oh, we will not be missing the dining room experience.

Nan- curious, did you think you had to just use the group babysitting????

It just sounds like that to me. It is my understanding from RCCL that there are off duty crew members that will babysit in the stateroom.

Why did you have to eat in your room each night? Are your kids so beastly - that you can't contro them in the dining room or at the buffet?
