Re-using FCC

If I use FCC to pay balance of already booked cruise and then cancel under "Cruise with Confidence", what happens to FCC?  Is it refunded to my account or lost?

I've moved my FCC from one cruise to another a few times.  Based on that, I would think it would be given back to you as FCC.

FCC will be returned to your account with same expiry date if you use Cruise with Confidence to cancel

Some have said that it may take awhile...I don't think they get in too much of a hurry but if you are wanting to make a new booking you just tell them that you have some FCC "in limbo" and they can apply it right then.

Cancelled a May cruise and booked a September cruise yesterday under Cruise with Confidence. Most of May cruise was paid for with FCCs. The FCCs and all cash payments except those covering the cancellation fees (deposit and insurance (~$1,200)) were immediately transferred to the new booking  The cancellation fees will be converted to FCCs. The last time they were available in under 3 weeks.

One thing I learned was if you used a Future Cruise Deposit and cancel after final payment, you get the $100 as FCC but no OBC when applied to a new cruise (boo hoo).

I think I noticed the Cruise with Confidence cancellation policy expires March 31, 2022.  Anyone else seen this date?

Well, 

check your accounts 

 

my FCC was automatically extended to 2023 without me asking
