Sailor loot in the casino

Is it possible to use sailor loot for table games at the casino? I'm guessing it would work with the slots, but as a virgin voyages & casino newbie it seems a good opportunity to give it a try and the table games look more fun to me. Their FAQ has a rather cryptic:
Sailor Loot can be used in the casino for gameplay, but cannot be cashed out.

Does this mean any winnings would be returned as further loot (which I don't especially need)?

You'll receive promotional chips when you use sailor loot, which cannot be cashed in. However, any winning bets will be paid out with regular/traditional chips which you can exchange for cash. For example, if you bet $10 on a hand of blackjack with a promotional chip and win, you'll receive $10 in regular chips.

@mrbf 1.  Follow up question would be what happens to the promotional chip.  Do you know? Some casinos allow you to play with the promo chip until you lose it, but some will take the promo chip when you win.  If you purchased sailor loot, this would be bad.

2. I am also curious about how this works in the slot machines.  Do you have to get it from the cashier or can you access it directly at the machine?

3. Most importantly, if you play the loot in the slot machine, do you accumulate "points" for the play?

They let you play promo chips till you lose.

 

you have to go to the cashier, tell them how much you want to use and pick tables or slots.  For slots, they load to your band and you set a pin, then log in/download whatever you want to whatever machine you want to play.  
 

You do get points for play on promotional chips/slot dollars, but I don’t know what you actually get for them.
