I had Brunch around 11:30 and the dining room was just a little backed up with a large number of arrivals. Although the wait time was posted at under 10 minutes, it was really 10-15 for some of the larger parties.

I was seated at a smaller table just inside the entrance. Service was unremarkable, but I could tell the Team Waiter and Assistant Waitress had their hands full. Beverage service came a few minutes after I was seated, but it took more than 10 minutes for the waiter to come back to take my order. My meal delivery came with a refill on coffee, but no other check-back.

I had the Chia Seed Pudding (those who have followed my previous reviews know my thoughts on the Chia Seed Pudding!) and the Huevos Rancheros with a side of bacon. I requested the eggs to be fried hard or well done and they were mostly well done, with just a sliver that was still runny.

I skipped dessert with brunch and opted to try the German Chocolate Cake from the lunch buffet instead. It was quite good, although the poor crew member serving it was having a heck of a time cutting and plating. This is the re-assembled slice of cake.

It is a sunny, but cool day off the coast of the Carolinas. At 2:00, the air temperature is 64 degrees, with apparent wind of 4 knots from the south. The lack of wind helps, but it is still cool enough that I found the upper deck to be a bit chilly. Others would disagree with me as there are still plenty of guests laying out and taking full advantage of the sunshine.

Seas are a bit rocky today, with 7-8 ft swells creating just enough motion to remind you that you are at sea.

The forecast for tomorrow calls for sunshine and highs in the mid 70s, with calming seas.

I agree, the Playlist shows on Legend were the best we've seen - large variety of shows and really talented and energetic performers.

Much better than the Playlist shows on the Sunrise out of Miami last month. Although they were well performed and I like the cast's ability to come out into the audience in the Liquid Lounge, the musical arrangements just seemed "odd". Vintage Pop was a blend of 20s swing band and modern pop music, while Soulbound might be perfect for a New Orleans sailing or a Halloween cruise, but felt out of place on a February Miami sailing.

Tonight's Playlist production is Motor City, which is one of my favorites.

This room is my favorite Punchliner. This is Farcus at his best, over the top of course, but really a beautiful, joyful space.

The "Farcus" decor on the Legend isn't as bad as some of the other ships, but I prefer the look of the Dream and Vista classes. My first Excel-class ship will be the Jubilee in around 20 months.

Marcela from Mexico has been promoted to BINGO host! She has gained a lot of confidence in her English skills since her first cruise as a member of the Fun Squad in December. She also had the opportunity to host Game of Thrones Trivia ahead of the $1,000 Mystery BINGO this afternoon. She did a fantastic job!

Miguel from Mexico hosted his first NFL Trivia this afternoon. We has to switch to a new trivia after seven questions because he realized his answer key didn't match the questions. He did a fine job recovering and I proved that I still don't know much about NFL history. 4 out of 20 is a good score, right?

Tonight's wait time for YTD climbed above one hour. The second night of the cruise is generally the most popular for dinner in the MDR as it is the first Elegant Night, as well as lobster and prime rib night on most sailings.

I opted to get a bit of work done while enjoying the music of Accidental String Trio at Alchemy Bar and postpone dinner until after the show.

Andrea and Kat are both still behind the bar at Alchemy Bar. Andrea took her turn at making a Kentucky Mule for me while I responded to some email.

Dinner service was less than stellar this evening. Neither the Team Waiter or Assistant Waiter spoke more than a single sentence at any one time. They appeared to be very rushed. My water glass went empty and I never did get the cup of coffee I ordered with my dessert.

The food quality was decent, although there was too much sugar on the creme brulee and it didn't fully melt, creating a gritty texture.

If there was a positive to tonight's dinner service, it was that Ken, the singing Maitre'd, is onboard and gave an excellent performance ahead of the regular "showtime".

I didn’t like the endless urns on the big shiny molding all over the ship (so. many. urns) or dark feel on Legend, but I liked the Enchanted Forest, Medusa’s, single MDR layout, low number of inside rooms. Farcusness doesn’t bother me but some of it is aging better than others and I did enjoy the updated look on Mardi Gras and looking forward to seeing Vista and Radiance.

Miguel was so much fun!! He’s working on improving his English and has no problem laughing about struggling with difficult to pronounce words (“ay-ay-ay” when it’s really a tough one). Tell him we miss him! He won’t know who we are but might appreciate being missed by someone.

I love the Chia Seed Pudding, my husband and I share desserts each night when we cruise but neither one of us would share the Chia Seed Pudding.

I can't say I blame either one of your for not wanting to share. I had another at brunch this morning!

Speaking of brunch...

How many likes can we get for CHIA SEED PUDDING!?

Also had an omelet, bacon, and a bagel with cream cheese. Not pictured is the banana cream pie as I was having a lovely conversation with a young man named Dylan and a 72-year-old sweetheart by the name of Miss LaRue, who is spreading her love all over the ship.
