Trip Report: The Jade is quite a gem
wesorbeth replied to schmoopie17's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
Great to here, we will be on the Jade next month. -
It was a nice beach but we couldn't see anything last May, the water was so cloudy. We plan to try it again in April.

Well...how is it? BTW I really enjoy your reviews. Yours and St. Greg's are the best. -
We cruised NCL for the first time last year and will be cruising them again in April. The Free at Sea makes it far more affordable than anything I have seen on Carnival for quite some time.

Raices is fantastic, it was recommended to us by a friend who lived in San Juan. The fish cakes and mofongo were excellent. -

I've used washroom, restroom and bathroom. I never really thought about this before, I am going to start listening to others. I was born, raised and still live in southern Ohio. -

When we were on the Getaway they showed it in the mornings on the screen in the atrium. -

We cruised NCL for the first time in May, I was amazed at the room between tables in the MDR compared to Carnival. -
I agree, we were on the cruise before yours. I have never experienced such crowds on a ship.

Getaway Port Canaveral Disembarking
wesorbeth replied to closecruiser's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
It was a mess getting off the ship last Thursday. We were light blue tags, I think they callled us around 9:15. There were so many people doing "self assist" that should not have. If you have 5 suitcases, a stroller, and a baby in your arms check your bags. If you can't walk and have a mobility scooter or use a walker, check your bags. -
If you have taken this excursion please provide feedback.

It wouldn't make or break my cruise but different things are important for people, don't be rude.

Similar to Irish Cream, I found some at Jungle Jims for 3.00 a bottle we liked the coffee and the chai. -

I live in bourbon country, Woodford is better than Buffalo Trace. Weller is good, Blanton's is better, I haven't had Pappy. -

We have cruised Carnival out of NOLA several times, the tax rate is about 10% and you pay taxes until you reach the Gulf, approximately 8 hours after you leave the port. -
Possibly.

Your Dad was in Hospice, that is different. If your Dad died in his sleep at home and was not under Hospice care the police would come.

Ninjacat123 my Dad was a homicide detective in Cincinnati for 22 years.

The FBI would be the jurisdiction on the case. Anytime someone dies somewhere other than a hospital police investigate, even if it's not suspicious. If you are 90 years old and die at home the police will show up.
