You forgot to add which sauce to chose for those fries? Secret sauce or cheese. Or just plain plain.

Secret sauce of course!

I would probably drink the stuff, so that would also count as a drink I think

We also enjoyed the salad bar in the LIdo.   You get to choose which items to add to the large bowls they serve it in.  We had salad most days for lunch we enjoyed them so much.

Hoping the Rotterdam will also have the salad bar when we cruise in November.

Every hal ship has the same salad bar, at least in the last several years.  Speaking from my experience.

  • 2 weeks later...

On Koningsdam now.

Just about everything that was mentioned, I tried.  All were really good.  Had the Fries with Mayo and Peanut Sauce yesterday.  That was pretty good.

I will be going to the Dive In later this afternoon (surprised I haven't gone there yet, but so many choices).

Has anyone tried the Gelato?  I will be trying that at some point.

The wasabi cocktail from Tamarind bar (you don't have to eat at Tamarind to drink at the bar).  Delicious!  The drink is sweet, not spicy, but beware the lychee ball.  It's marinated in wasabi, and according to my husband inedible!  DH's preferred drink in that venue was the cucumber mojito.  Both of these are included in the standard Have It All drink package.

A further comment on minimizing plastics - for cocktail picks they use pieces of angel hair pasta - uncooked, of course!

That drink is excellent.  I did eat the lychee..  it was spicy!  They ran out of lychee though and were using canned peaches.  Not the same.
