Bandol or Cassis

My family and I will be on a Med cruise at the end of May and I'm looking for an excursion in Provence.  Any thoughts on which would be better...Bandol or Cassis?  Both look beautiful, but since we can only do one, I'm looking for advice.

My French co-worker is from Nantes but goes to University in Aix.  She told me to try to get to Cassis on one of my days in Provence.   At least that's my co-worker's suggestion.

Cassis is prettier. It has nice restaurants and bistros along the port and you can take a boat ride to see the Calanques.

 

BTW, one of the newest Michelin 3-star restaurants is in Cassis.
