dazadelaide Posted March 29, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 29, 2022 Hi all, has anyone experienced a price drop after you have booked and paid a deposit for a cruise? We have paid a $800 deposit for a cruise in March 2023 and this week P&O have reduced the price of the the cruise in the same cabin by $400. We contacted our travel agent to see if we could at least get an on board credit but we were told bad luck nothing can be done. It's the first time we paid a big deposit up front we usually book when P&O have a sale so I think we will go back to that plan again in the future. Quite sad, we will put our money towards cruise lines that do have these programs and will match any price drop. RCL is one of those lines who will drop the price if same cabin class becomes cheaper.
