cruisemama2011 Posted March 30, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 30, 2022 I apologize if this question has been asked, but does Royal honor testing from eMed? We are a family of 3 and want to purchase 2 kits each, in case there are issues. It looks like buying directly from emed would save us $150, than buying directly from the cruise line. Has anyone used eMed for Royal Caribbean?

You will actually be logging onto the Emed website when you are ready to take your tests….
CyberTag Posted March 31, 2022 #3 Share Posted March 31, 2022 Just make sure it’s the proctored at-home test.
pcur Posted March 31, 2022 #4 Share Posted March 31, 2022 I've used eMed and BinaxNOW proctored testing 3 times. The 6 test kits for $150 is a good price. What I like about these test kits is they are portable, and you can use your phone's camera to interact with the proctor. I visited family before I went on my recent cruise, and was able to do the testing from my son's house in MI 2 days before the cruise. I've also done the test in my hotel room. Just practice how to stabilize the phone for the 20 minutes it takes for the whole test.
