After following you and a few other reviewers on Odyssey and Wonder I had a difficult choice to make. Which one of those two ships would I book first? After checking out prices, room availability, and what sailing dates would work best with our schedule we have a winner! We’re booked on Odyssey in April 2023! I’m very excited to sail on her!

 

 

We haven’t sailed Celebrity yet, but it’s been on my mind. It will be interesting to see if I end up booking another cruise after this virtual sailing. 😂

 

I’m ready for the fun to begin! Bring it on!

The good news is that we made it to Florida. The bad news is that our checked bags did not. So if you see two people wearing the same clothes every day, come say hi we can get a drink 😂

We love Celebrity. We sailed 5 times before we went to Royal.

Odyssey is an amazing ship.  Wonder is beautiful and nice but when you take into consideration the price Odyssey is a better value.  Of course you know my favorite is still Symphony of the Seas.

 

Celebrity is a whole different experience.  I book celebrity when I need a low key, calm, relaxing and being pampered getaway 😂  Of course the food!!

Thank you!  I can’t wait to hear all about Discovery.  I have a few cruises in mind on Princess but have not booked yet so I am definitely interested to hear what you have to say!

That is good to hear.  I am so sorry to hear about the luggage!  Yikes!!  I would stop by guest relations and let them know and see if they can offer discounted laundry service for you to help out!

 

It was not a good day yesterday for Florida flights due to a thunderstorm that stalled.  Lots of delays and cancellations from Orlando down to Miami.  I thought about going last night but one was canceled in the afternoon and the last flight was delayed until midnight so I am on the first flight out this morning which has been delayed.  We are waiting on pilots!  It would not be an adventure without flight shenanigans!!!

Day 1

 

My 7AM flight was pushed back to 9:30AM.  It’s now 9:30AM and we are still boarding a full flight!  I don’t think we will be leaving on time.  Displaced passengers from yesterday ( to Miami, FLL, Fort Meyers, West Palm Beach, Orlando ) jumped onto this flight only to have it delayed.  They are trying to get to Florida and it doesn’t matter which city I guess.  Fun Fun Fun!

Good luck @BennyBrun ! Glad you’re on a flight at last. I’m off to Walmart to buy clothes and toiletries as our airline told us that we are unlikely to get our luggage until San Juan. Oh well! We won’t be stylish but we’ll be on board.

Hopefully they will fly to next port?  My cousin and her DH had the same happen flying to Rome.  They received them in Athens, two ports later.  Their happiness was unmeasurable.  Good Luck!  I hope you packed a few things in your carry-ons.

I think I read somewhere that a combination of vodka and tequila can be used to get rid of perspiration stains, so before you hand wash your shirt, get a Tito's and a Patron neat at a bar. 🤣

If you drink plenty of vodka and tequila you might not see or care about the stains on the clothes… that’s what I heard 😂

Day 1 Embarkation Day

 

The bag took a little while but there were displaced bags everywhere.  After I got my bag Uber was pulling up $14.62 and off to the Edge!  I overheard that if you use X transfer, you have to wait for the shuttle to come from terminal 1 and the shuttle stops at all the terminals.  So that 10 minute ride will turn into 60 minutes!

The good thing about being late is that you get to walk right in… no line … no hassle no nothing… it took 10 minutes from curb to Edge!
