This question gets asked almost monthly, and has been for years now.

 

NCL really should just change the wording so it isn’t as confusing.

make sure to bring an old fashioned wrist watch that you can set to the correct time of the port you are in.  There will be many time changes while cruising, and cell phones may not change to the current time.  Also, pay attention to the '"Time to be back on board" signage as you leave the ship for your shore excursions.  I have seen a few runners left behind on the dock.  Once the ship pulls out, it cant come back to pick you up.
