Newbie Question

I saw this on my itinerary... Due to security reasons, all guests must be on board 2 hours before sailing. 

 

Is this just for the initial embarkation or is that at every stop?  Sorry if this is a dumb question.  TIA!

Just the first day.  At port stops, they'll have the all-aboard time posted at the gangway, it's usually 30-60 minutes before sailing.

Nothing wrong with "newbie questions," @willetstravel! I think I asked the same question a few months ago before our cruise in February.

This question gets asked almost monthly, and has been for years now.

 

NCL really should just change the wording so it isn’t as confusing.

make sure to bring an old fashioned wrist watch that you can set to the correct time of the port you are in.  There will be many time changes while cruising, and cell phones may not change to the current time.  Also, pay attention to the '"Time to be back on board" signage as you leave the ship for your shore excursions.  I have seen a few runners left behind on the dock.  Once the ship pulls out, it cant come back to pick you up.

Or just set your phone to "manual time"...making sure to follow the advice of @YVRteacher and set it to the ship time.  That's the ONLY time that matters!
