jdg623 Posted April 14, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2022 I saw on a RC blog site that some Mariner sailings next year are being cancelled. We are booked on an Aug 2023 sailing and when I checked my dashboard, it does say the sailing is cancelled. We haven't gotten a notice from Royal yet. I've messaged my TA for confirmation. It looks like they will price protect to a comparative alternate, which could work for us since checking the Royal site - the advertised prices are almost double what we paid. Hoping to get official notification soon. Has anyone gotten notice?

jdg623 Posted April 14, 2022 Author #3 Share Posted April 14, 2022 Thanks I didn’t see that thread. Don’t go on the boards every day 😅
ATG Posted April 14, 2022 #4 Share Posted April 14, 2022 We had booked the 8/26 8 night sailing. If I log onto the RC site it shows our cruise as a 6 night. I haven’t been notified of any change.
VegasVic14 Posted April 15, 2022 #5 Share Posted April 15, 2022 I received cancellation notice of the first week of the B2B, but not the second week. Because the replacement dates for the one cancelled cruise rolled into the date of the second cruise, it was obvious that the second week was also cancelled, even without a notification. I phoned RCI and the rep I talked with had access to my missing notification, so at that point, with both weeks gone, I rebooked a new B2B. So, without an email or some sort of notification given to you, I suggest you phone them and straighten out the confusion.
jdg623 Posted April 15, 2022 Author #6 Share Posted April 15, 2022 I still haven’t gotten official notice but my TA did. He’s got our same aft JS on hold for an alternate sailing date and will finalize the move next week. We’re picky about cabins and have limited availability to travel so I’m grateful for the social media that alerted me to this cancellation and the quick response of my TA to make the change. All well that ends well ☺️
