Dogstar Posted April 15, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2022 Hi All, Any personal experience obtaining the Elite or Signature Drink Paxkage on a short cruise, please? Mrs. Dogstar & her friend are doing the Koningsdam 2-day Pacific Coastal (Vancouver-Seattle-Vancouver) together in a couple of weeks. Neither drink packages are available to purchase online (but wine packages are), & Ship Services advises they’re unavailable for cruises of 3 days or less. The Have-it-All Package is also not an available or necessary option either. Thoughts about securing either Drink Package at any particular bar upon embarkation? From the sounds of their planning this’ll be the more economical option for the “Girl’s Trip”. 🤪 Thank you for any insight. Dogstar.
oakridger Posted April 15, 2022 #2 Share Posted April 15, 2022 I would just figure that the ship departs at 4pm on April 28th. If they board at noon and debark by about 9am April 30th. So about 45 hours on board. The Signature Beverage Package is $53.04 per day so $106.08 each. Will they drink that much in drinks in 45 hours? Let's say average alcohol is $8 plus 18% tip = $9.44 per drink if bought separately. $106.08/9.44= 11.2 drinks in 45 hours So 5.6 drinks each day would be break even.

I suspect they’ll meet the first day’s daily quota before the ship even clears the Lions Gate Bridge! 🥳
