Trinidad and Tobago … why?

The 2022 Sojourn holiday itinerary includes Trinidad and Tobago. At first, I thought that was very cool, a new Caribbean island for us to visit but as I looked into it, I’m wondering why it’s included. The island looks to have very serious safety issues so please chime in if you can shed some light. Thank you.

Having been to Trinidad on quite a few occasions the only reason I can imagine going again is Carnival, the can  go toe to toe with the one in Rio . I have never felt safe or welcomed in Trinidad.
