Rapid NAAT covid test accepted?

I know this has been discussed often on the board. The Celebrity website states the NAAT covid test is accepted but does not state the RAPID NAAT test is. We would like to have the test done at Walgreens in a few days. Has anyone actually gotten the Rapid NAAT test and had it accepted for boarding? Thanks.

Yes. That is all I got for a March 18th Constellation cruise.

 

Go to Walmarts.com. Fill out the questionnaire indicating when you like to have it done. Did mine through the drive-up window and had the results within an hour.

No, but I will tomorrow.  This is what Celebrity says they will accept:

 

Accepted Types of Tests and Results

• There are two common types of diagnostic COVID-19 tests and we accept either one: 
  • A molecular test, also called a PCR test or NAAT test
  • An antigen test, also called a rapid antigen test

I have seen this ….just wondering if the rapid NAAT test is the same as NAAT. Thanks, Mark! If you have a chance could you please confirm after you board that everything went well!

To be more specific if you are talking about the IDNow test used by Walgreens it's has been reported many times on this board that it IS accepted by Celebrity

NAAT tests of any type are accepted.  They are all the same type of test.
