Just to update everyone I just got off a cruise from Miami. They never asked for the insurance

Same from Port Canaveral. 
 

 

it looks like when you book the cruise you get a pop up that says it’s not required but recommended.

Unless that is new, for us it was on our cruise documents. Not sure if it just applies to Canadians or what.

it is just Canadians. But someone mentioned in the thread here it wasn’t required anymore. I priced a trip this week and when I got to the payment it had the little pop up box that said it was recommended but not required. On the Canadian site.
