Club Balcony Suites

Hi:

 

We are doing a transatlantic cruise, Copenhagen to Port Canaveral, on the Getaway in June.  I chose our balcony cabin specifically because it had a larger balcony (we are in 8138).  YouTube videos of the cabin show it with 2 loungers and 2 chairs.  Now we have received the e-mail with an offer to bid on an upgrade.  I am tempted by the club balcony suite or even the club balcony spa suite.  I don't want to give up our larger balcony though.  Does anyone know if club balcony suites have balconies that are larger than normal?

With only 1 stop along the way I would make sure you like your cabin. If you like the spa maybe think about a spa pass. Or if the Havens are reasonable make a minimum bid for those. You have a lot of sea days

No, don’t do it.

 

Standard rooms on the Getaway have absolutely tiny balconies. If you have a large balcony room then don’t risk getting allocated anything else if balcony size is important to you.

 

They really are tiny.

We had a Club Balcony on the Getaway, 12184, the Balcony was a huge disappointment, very tight, 2 chairs and a small table. I could almost touch the slider to the Balcony rail elbow to elbow.

If you can get a club balcony with large balcony then go for that. We have sailed in those a few times on the Breakaway/Getaway and love those balconies.

Breakaway and Getaway are the same size. Switch port and starboard and...you get the idea. 😉
