Upgrading Internet on Board with OBC

Hi,

 

For an upcoming cruise we have $400 in non-refundable OBC from NCL and $350 from the travel agent.   We won't use much of this except for my MIL for a few excursions, and maybe some laundry.  The $350 can go towards gratuities. 

 

We also have two times 150 min internet that I want to upgrade to unlimited so I can text with my sister, etc.  Is it cheaper to convert both internet plans to unlimited before the cruise, or can I wait until we get onboard and upgrade then?   It is a 7 day cruise and $110 per package to upgrade online.  

 

I'm just trying to not waste the OBC.  Does anyone have experience with this?

Save your own money, use those non-refundable OBC and do the easy upgrade via the app/browser interface once onboard, same price as online. Just did that last month on the Getaway & will be doing it again next month on the Joy. 

 

Just do not start using the 150 minutes x 2 until you upgraded to unlimited.  Latitudes discount do not apply or stack together.
