Cancel excursion booked with OBC and CC

We have an upcoming cruise to Alaska paid in full and are 40ish days out before sailing.  We have pre-booked several excursions at one time for 2 cabins.    Our OBC was not enough to cover the cost of excursions.  We paid the balance with my CC. One person in the other cabin is now no longer able to go.  If we cancel their excursions, what happens to that money?  Does it go to OBC to their cabin or can some be refunded to CC?

Earlier this week I canceled an excursion that was paid for entirely with OBC a few weeks ago.  The OBC appeared back in the OBC "reservoir" (not sure what else to call it) minutes later when checking that from the Manage My Booking > View Balance Details page.

I would imagine that would be the same in your case, with the remainder amount that was charged to your card subject to whatever that normal turnaround time would be.

I booked with a TA - where do I find by OBC totals?  I can't find "View Balance Details" page.  I bought WiFi using OBC and then canceled it to get a better plan.  But the buy page states I don't have enough OBC.

We had a $200 OBC and purchased cheers and airport transport. The balance was paid with credit card.
i ended up cancelling the airport transport and it ended up in my OBC. It was only $150 so I’m not sure if it was over the OBC it would go back on credit card.

I booked directly with carnival but my OBC amount is also indicated in my cruise documents that I print. Do you have access to those or is that also limited because you booked through a TA?

What was paid with OBC will go back to the OBC pool that it came from. The portion that was paid with a CC will be refunded to the CC

I phoned Carnival a couple of weeks ago and was told that I could not prepay my gratuities using my OBC.  I thought that I read that this could be done.  Is that correct?

You can't pre pay it with OBC. The OBC can be used to pay it when the gratuities hit your sign and sail account if you haven't already spent it.
