First timer trying to take the plunge - very nervous!

I think @nettiklive was less concerned about testing positive and having to cancel the cruise than the possibility of contracting COVID on the ship. 

 

As for the possibility of testing positive, based on results posted here from ships that have posted their numbers, it seems to be about 3%-5%.  Most COVID tests have a false-positive rate of just under 2%, so that makes sense.  Most communities consider anything under a 5% positive test rate to be good without the need for special precautions.

Ships are even cleaner than they used to be.  Never really was an issue.

 

No, you should never cruise!!!!!

We started in 2004 and now on 54th.  Spent lots.  And have 10 more booked.  More addictive than gambling (which you can also do on ship).
