Covid Test to transfer flight in Germany( FRA)

Does anyone know if I am traveling from USA to Rome via Frankfurt Germany and am vaccinated fully do I need a covid test before leaving USA. Info on this is so confusing when you read it. Called the airline and read their requirements but I am so confused. Leaving Sat. from Boston. just a 1hour layover in Germany.

You need to be "up to date" vaccinated meaning you need the booster if your second shot is older than 270 days. Then you don´t need a test for Germany or Italy.

Yes, two weeks past the shot is considered vax.

Yes, she is fine and regarded as fully vaccinated and up to date.
