Keeping track of our teen, best way to communicate onboard?

Our upcoming cruise will be with CCL.

We're thinking we will allow our teen to check himself in/out of his teen programs. He has a tendency to forget to check in with us so we were wondering have any of you found a good way to keep track of kids that are allowed to check themselves in/out of their programs? Ideally, we'd like to be able to message him (Maybe Carnival HUB? IDK) and see where he's at so we can meet up with him and make sure he's ok periodically throughout his day. Thanks!

I can't find a way to delete this thread... can someone delete this? I made another topic and the wording to that might make more sense, I hope..? Thanks!

Got my answer, Groundloop (huge thanks) on Carnival board let me know that on Carnival we can pay $5 p/p to use messenger feature in the Hub app. Since I'm sailing Carnival, that will be amazing!
