Diamond Lounge Offerings… plus they have an overflow area to accommodate a surge …

The coffee machine at the Diamond lounge is broken 😞… as a compromise you can show your card at Cafe Promenade and you can have the basic coffee drinks no charge … and it does not count towards the coupons either.. but it can’t be a fancy coffee drink… just the espresso, latte, cappuccino, coffee drinks.  I think that is a very nice compromise.

Not a smooth operation… sections not ready creating a long line up front, line to get food and line to get in and only half is open!

Prior to the pandemic  both sides are cooking… now the only times I have seen both sides open is during busy days (embarkation and debarkation) 

 

Not to worry by the time I walked out around 6:30 the line was minimal.  Eat later at Windjammer if you want to avoid the lines !

Under utilized area on the ship … Vroom area … the library is downstairs…

 

I really like that light… will that fit in my suitcase?

So apparently, I had just missed you!  I had the Webcam on after you said  "we are moving"....I watched, never seeing the ship, kept the Webcam on, and after some time went by, the Verrazzano totally disappeared in the Fog.  Bummer that I missed the ship!

MDR. … a little hectic … a little busy … food is good but it was better on the Oasis!  The food was not hot and lukewarm at best… I had to get another piece of friend chicken because I like my chicken hot otherwise it’s just soggy and cold.

I think the big problem is people showing up much earlier than their check in time.   If you arrive at that time it is an easy process and onboard in 15 mins.   Nowadays you do get people stumbling with phones to find their test results so that slows down the line too.  So much easier to print them out and just have with set sail pass and passport and we put vax cards in our lanyard.

I'm surprised with how many computers are here.

I'm also happy to see the spacious OV balcony has the tall larger table vs those small cocktail tables on some other ships.   

I have not yet been on Adventure but am booked for a Bermuda sailing later this summer.   I do like the homey feel of your photos.

I don’t think we are in Kansas any more … this ship looks and feels so different than the Oasis Class ships… it feels like one of those classic ships from back then 😆… you will see more pictures later on it is unique to me and I like it
