Lorient port

We visited the town a few years ago whilst on holiday in Brittany. Most of the town is modern as it was destroyed during the war.

my partner is interested in WWII and he wanted to visit the *** Submarine Pens which remain intact.

I contacted either the tourist board or local museum, I can’t remember which, and they gave us the info.

we went on a guided tour in English, which was interesting as the guide was very informative. It was all free of charge.
